Maverick Central Market

This was my first staying in the Hostels, before that i was very hesitant however i didn't regret it. The place was clean and the cleaning team work really hard to maintain it that way. Something i also liked about the design of the rooms that i have taken (4 Bed Room) is that, they had one door that allows you to go to a small common area where you find shower, washing basin and toilet in separate areas. In order for you to get to the room you will have to get into another door. This helped keeping the room very quite during my sleep. All the doors were accessed through cards (sometimes other users might leave them open but generally doors are closed), so make you sure you carry your key always with you. The Bunk got power plug and plenty of storage areas for your personal things. The main wardrobe has a good space that you can easily put your luggage in and lock it with pad lock ( Bring your own lock ). Floors have nice carpets making it more quite when moving around. The staff in general were extremely nice and very flexible, I had several encounters with them one of which i had to extend my stay for few days and they managed to allocate me the same bunk although it was a full house. The ladies are wonderful in the reception and very helpful too. Adam if i remember his name right he is amazing with all these activities that he runs on daily basis. He brings people around for good times and also for exploring the city. Parsa another wonderful guy very friendly hardworking guy that doesn't only stop at listening to your concerns, he will physically go with you to chase the issue until you are satisfied. I remember him struggling around to find a better place for a guest that had issues with the air cleaning smell and couldn't breathe well. He took an initiative to take her to another floor and switch of the air scent dispensers or humidifiers just for the lady to be able to use the kitchen in peace. Again i can't stress enough the team is amazing.

Conveniently located, about 5 min walk to the Central City Market, 2 min walk to the river, from where you can take tram no. 2 that basically takes you through all of the main sightseeing spots. I also found it relieving that you can unlock all the necessary doors and your personal locker with a single e-card so you should not worry about the safety of your belongings.

This is one of the better hostels you can stay at and I would recommend it for any length of stay. Good division and privacy between beds and locker in room available for use with keycard for each bed. Free towel on request and communal shower facilities were available outside of rooms with plenty of space and clean. Soaps available from dispensers by sinks and in each shower cubicle. Temperature control in room was satisfactory. Plenty of spaces for socialising including a bar, and kitchen available on alternating floors. Location is average, but to help there is a tram line stop a few minutes away that connects you to the city centre and to most other lines. Nearest metro is 10 minutes walk away. Plenty of international restaurants available nearby and along one street that can accommodate any picky eater. A 24 hour corner shop is 10 minutes walk away with others closer during normal working hours.

felt very relaxed staying here, bed are comfortable enough and it's so clean. bathrooms are cleaned everyday. the rooms have lockers so you can leave your stuff behind safely I was on the first floor and was a bit afraid of the noise coming from the lobby but the rooms are surprisingly sound proof, only when you open the door you will hear some music from the lobby. The location is also great with a SPAR within a 3 minute walk and a whole food street with different kind of restaurants. public transportation is also easy to reach. would definitely stay here again.
